Near Inverurie in Aberdeen you will find the turreted mansion house, Warthill, ancestral seat of the Leslie family and still the seat of the Aberdeenshire Chieftain, Sebastian Leslie of Warthill. The mansion has three bedrooms, sleeps up to seven people and can host a sit-down dinner for up to 14 people. Take magical walks among the estate’s ancient trees and flowery meadows with their abundant wildlife – look out for roe deer and red squirrel, perhaps even see the shy badgers. Whiskey lovers will find that they are ideally situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire for Whisky Trails of Moray where there are eight distilleries scattered around offering a unique taste of the famous Scottish drink.
