Non-Religious Celebrants and Ministers

Depending on the distance and which day of the week you choose the cost for a non-religious celebrant or Mininster to perform your wedding at a venue of your choice usually runs between £200 and £300 (there is also an additional fee for the legal paperwork of £69).

Registrars

To perform a civil ceremony at a Registrar’s office will cost you £103.50 (including the fee for submission of the legal paperwork.)

To have a Registrar perform the civil ceremony at a venue of your choice (provided it is licensed to do so) varies from office to office. HCW can contact the area Registrar on your behalf to determine the exact fee.
